Several important and interesting workshops will be organized on November 25th.
Professor Elisabeth Berger chairs the Institute for Entrepreneurship at Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria. She was appointed as full professor for new business venturing and innovative regions in 2021. Previously she was interim Professor at the Technical University of Munich and completed her Post-Doc and PhD degrees at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, where she was awarded the highest distinction level for her dissertation: “Toward a configurational understanding of entrepreneurship using qualitative comparative analysis.” Professor Berger’s research focuses on the perception as well as social evaluations of entrepreneurship. It also encompasses the role of entrepreneurship and innovations in transformation processes as well as entrepreneurial ecosystems. Her work has been published in various entrepreneurship and including the Journal of Business Venturing, the Journal of Business Research, and the European Management Journal. Professor Berger is co editor of the International Journal of Entrepreneurial Behaviour & Research and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Business Research, Department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Knowledge.

WORKSHOP 2 – Research Elevator Pitch
In response to the publisher’s proposals after last year’s Danube Cup conference – to generate more international publications, with a group of authors not belonging to the same institution/not representing the same country – on November 25th, we are going to organise a research pitch session (Research Elevator Pitch) where colleagues can pitch their research (ideas), with the aim of finding international collaborators for their intended research activity focusing on entrepreneurship or startup education.
